It occurred to me just now that whatever I put up next would be the forty-seventh strip. Forty-seven! That's a hell of a lot! At least, it seems to be a lot more than I ever expected to get out of this silly idea I had one afternoon in the middle of May. I was going to make this into a whole Thing about rolling a hendecatope to find out Which Polytope Are You? But then I realized that the mouseover effects involved in letting you know would require more fancy Web-wrangling than I really want to get into. It was either that or making eleven different pages, each with a new version of the same image, and to hell with that. So instead, to "celebrate" my "achievement", I made the image above, in which all the characters except Tess float silently in the vastness of the cosmos. This image is also available as a desktop, 1024 X 768.
