Failing To Believe
I know. I know, okay? It was the first thing I thought when I read this one, too. Technically, when you travel in a straight line through four rooms in a tesseract, you're not actually moving straight. You're actually rotating along one of the hypercube's four axes; it just seems like you're moving in a straight line to a three-dimensional observer. So Dido's entire falling "thing" wouldn't work like this at all. It's about as probable as someone on Earth falling west for the rest of their life.
Nevertheless. This sets up quite a bit of what's to come to Polytopes. Seriously, there are at least three more comics in this story-arc. Now it's just a matter of finding the time to complete them...
