Where's My Erlenmeyer?
I think this is the first strip to use something other than the low, square panel size. Big shift there, forced some rearrangment of the buttons, but the new size gives me more room to have things going on. I think the most important thing about this comic, though, is Otto's chair. What is that, a grill? Where did it come from, assuming the house is its own closed universe?
A lot of questions like this are starting to come up, and I'm starting to ignore them. Doors, for instance. I know I'm just going to end up putting them wherever is convenient for the purposes of each particular strip. Which means, in practical terms, that there are holes in the wall that move and change size. Which I guess is okay, given that the house is also a living thing. Maybe the polytopes have some kind of deal worked out, I don't know.
Either way. Mystery and intrigue!
